Composition

ArthroVet Complex Small Breed has a unique composition with multidirectional effects:

Glucosamine and chondroitin are the basic building blocks of cartilage, which support its reconstruction and improve elasticity.

Hyaluronic acid facilitates the penetration of nutrients into the joint tissues, and manganese and vitamin C support the production of collagen, which is a basic element of the structures of joints and tendons.

The supplement has been enriched with Harpagophytum procumbens, popularly known as “devil’s claw”, and soy and avocado extracts . According to scientific research (Boileau et al. 2009*), avocado and soy fractions help reduce early degenerative changes in joint cartilage.

Glucosamine and chondroitin

necessary for the synthesis of extracellular matrix which form the structural basis for articular cartilages. Ensure the proper hydration of articular cartilages, guaranteeing their resilience and elasticity.

Harpagophytum procumbens

shows anti-inflammatory properties, due to the inhibition of the enzymes such as cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase.

Dry avocado, soy extract

show anabolic, anticatabolic, and anti-inflammatory effects on chondrocytes; increase collagen synthesis; inhibit the 1-beta interleukin induced collagenase; boost the synthesis of aggrecan; inhibit the IL1β-dependent activation of extracellular matrix metalloproteineases (MMP)-3, IL-6, IL-8 and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2).

Manganese

serves as a building block of enzyme molecules known as glycosyltransferases, necessary for the synthesis of proteoglycans that ensure healthy bones and cartilages.
