Omega-3 fatty acids (source of EPA and DHA) affect the proper hydration of the skin and show a beneficial effect in the case of skin changes induced by UV radiation. EPA and DHA acids significantly reduce pro-inflammatory substances emitted by UV light. They protect, reduce the effects of sunburn, support repair processes and soothe irritation. Their deficiency causes that the natural resistance of the skin is significantly weakened.

Borage oil (GLA sources) has a positive effect on hydration, elasticity, density, roughness and resistance to skin fatigue. The deficiency of γ-linolenic acid is associated with the occurrence of many skin diseases, including excessive drying.

Horsetail extract contains flavonoids and silicon compounds that nourish and regenerate the animal’s skin. Horsetail accelerates wound healing and protects against excessive hair loss. It strengthens the epidermis layer and promotes healing even minor skin injuries.

Nettle extract helps fight baldness in domesticated animals. Shows antagonistic activity towards histamine – a pro-inflammatory mediator

Milk thistle extract (80% silymarin) has antioxidant and detoxifying effects on the body. Silymarin affects the quantitative and qualitative composition of sebum and slows down the process of keratosis of the sebaceous glands and epidermis. It also protects the skin against UV radiation.

Ground cistus contains polyphenols that have antioxidant effects.

Vitamins A and E fat-soluble vitamins, which are natural antioxidants that slow down the aging process of the skin. They also prevent excessive dryness and keratinization of the skin and affect faster regeneration of the epidermis.

Complex of group B vitamins supports the wound healing process, provides adequate skin hydration and support protection against skin diseases, e.g. seborrhea or alopecia.

Zinc (in the form of amino acid chelate) has a significant impact on the condition and appearance of the skin and coat. It is used primarily to support treatment of skin lesions in dogs with hypothyroidism.

Iron prevents hair loss and keratosis of the skin. It is a compound necessary for the proper structure of the skin, fur and claws.

L-cysteine ensures a healthy look of the skin. Protects it against the negative effects of UV radiation, participates in the production of collagen, improves skin elasticity and structure.

L-methionine a sulfuric amino acid that supports the regeneration of connective tissue and accelerates hair growth.
